Living local to up north we’ve frequently visited them for pizza on the evenings. It almost goes without saying how good their pizza is; true Neapolitan pizza with fresh home made dough. What was surprising though was their day time offerings. The girl who made my flat white was clearly a well trained barista. The texture and temperature were perfect! The pistachio aragostine was the ideal pairing too.
Delicious food- highly recommend the hummus & the garlic & rosemary bread, I’m a huge fan of garlic bread & can honestly say it’s the best ever! Really tasty food & good portions (we had to bring some home) Lovely atmosphere & great service- friendly & prompt with the food freshly cooked practically in front of you!
This was our second visit to UpNorth Pizza and it was fabulous. The pizza is fantastic and we love the house salad on the side. It has a beautiful pesto dressing and tastes gorgeous. The staff are really lovely and overall it’s a great dining experience that I would highly recommend.
We booked for 3 via online which was straightforward. We had to put down a non refundable deposit however it is a small seating area and if there were no shows it would be a big loss of revenue so l understand. The service was good , we ordered and the food came red hot and all freshly made. The taste of the food was amazing and a great small and friendly atmosphere. For info it's also totally dog friendly which is a bonus as our dog goes where we go . . . .

The most beautiful and delicious pizza's we have had in Shields. The dough was so light and fresh. The atmosphere was lovely, staff were attentive and such a reasonable price with 20% off! We will definitely be returning. Thank you to all the staff x
Called in for a bite to eat before school run and have had takeaway from here before. Great service from both of the staff and the food was fantastic. Marinara pizza is always a good choice with a really tasty tomato base. And the caprese sandwich was amazing. Give this place a visit.
We dropped by for a light meal, tried the ‘Karne’ pizza and really enjoyed it .Definitely coming back to enjoy our own pizzas next time. Service was lovely and drinks were great.
